DRESS STANDARDS

Strathfield Golf Club is a friendly and somewhat relaxed club that understands dress sense and standards vary according to the individual. However as a respected private club we have to insist on minimum dress standards for the pleasure of all people playing on the course or enjoying the ambience of our clubhouse.

Dress Code

SHIRTS: Shirts must be worn at all times and have a ?fold over collar? or ?mock collar?. Advertising logos or golf motifs must be limited to pocket size. Shirts may be worn outside if tailored to do so. Women to wear smart casual tops or sport shirts.

SHORTS AND TROUSERS: Belts should be worn (no drawstrings). Cargo shorts and trousers with outside pockets are acceptable. Denim shorts or trousers are forbidden on the course however tailored denim trousers may be worn in the clubhouse.

SOCKS: Socks must be worn when playing on the course ? predominantly white low cut anklet or shorter crew length socks are acceptable

SHOES: Soft Spiked Golf shoes or sport shoes to be worn on the course (no steel spikes or joggers).  Footwear used on the course should not be worn in the clubhouse. Enclosed boat shoes may be worn in the clubhouse without socks

CAPS: Caps must be worn in the appropriate manner and with the peak facing forward. Caps or hats must not be worn in the Clubhouse at any time.
